Check this out. 1 x 12 3/4 closet boards from a house built circa 1966.
Pull off 1 (!) coat of paint and see what passed for closet board back in the day!
Clear & better no knot straight grain fully seasoned fir with no twist, warp or bow !!
Do not throw that old wood away, you never know what treasure may be underneath the surface….
